B&T PROPERTY MAINTENANCE
Tony Thorner setup B&T Property Maintenance with the goal of sharing the knowledge and skills he has developed while working in the heart of New Zealand’s agriculture and horticultural industries for more than 30 years.
With a particular focus on lifestyle blocks and small rural runs, B&T Property Maintenance aims to deliver a first class experience and results to its customers across the wider Otago, Dunedin and Clutha regions. Being a former lifestyle block owner himself, Tony is personally aware of the unique problems owners face in managing their blocks. Most jobs are too large to undertake by hand and too small to justify the cost of engaging an agricultural contractor or earthmover. Tony's vision for B&T is to fill this gap with an experienced operator using suitably sized equipment all at a very reasonable cost.
While lifestyle blocks are our focus, B&T Property Maintenance also services residential areas. Our equipment allows us to access and work in tight confines allowing for example backyard clearing and excavation work in a fraction of the time it would take to complete by hand.
Tony takes “ownership" of the work B&T undertakes meaning you will be assured of a quality job. B&T also has full public liability insurance and a comprehensive site health and safety plan.

Our Equipment
2-Tonne Digger
With Rock, Tilt and Grab buckets suitable for general earthmoving, digging and clearing. We also have access to larger diggers when required.
Flail Mower / Mulcher
Makes short work of overgrown vegetation including grass, scrub and gorse.
Tipper Truck
Transporting soil, spoil and vegetation. Bulk carriage of garden products such as shreded bark and gravel.
